Hoarding

I am going through the research study, ready to give my report on Friday 30th. Once again, hoarding is there, just as it was a couple of years ago. More than half of the people who  complete the questionnaire  give a strong YES to.....

"There is  at least one room in my home, including a shed or garage, that is completely full of stuff."

Are you a hoarder? Did you do the questionnaire and give that question a strong YES?  Maybe you have just happened upon this blog and want to explore the idea that hoarding is an attachment disorder.  Whoever you are, if you have a hoarding thing do complete my special questionnaire and let's see what we can learn together about this mysterious and self sabotaging compulsion.

Artwork for our conference display

If you are a womb twin survivor and  you would like your artwork in our art display at the open space conference in St Albans  30th Oct-1st November, this can be done.

All you have to do is make a digital image of any artwork you have done - it may be a painting a sculpture or a photo - and email it to me at info(at)wombtwin.com. Then we will place it  on our art board for everyone to see.  A title and a few words describing how the art work speaks to you about being a womb twin survivor will also help.

Deadline Thursday 29th October 12 midnight GMT.

New book about identical twins

"One and the same" by Abigail Pogrebin.  Published this week. See it.

Worth a read I expect. (Womb twins get a mention apparently - I met the author in Gent at a twins conference. She thought I was a bit crazy at first, but soon recognised that this is a real thing. I was impressed by her open mindedness.)

The womb twin websites

Ive been busy. I've got new web site building software (Freeway) and the templates were so nice that in two days I managed to upgrade my personal website. www.altheahayton.com

The womb twin web sites are not getting the attention that they could, so do take a look. There are two sites: one is mine and one belongs to wombtwin.com, the non-profit organisation I created in 2007. I have a professional working on one and I'll be upgrading the other very soon using another Freeway template.

www.wombtwinsurvivors.com has a load of articles stories and links to help anyone who is on a journey of self discovery to get all the information they need about how it feels to be a womb twin survivor.

www.wombtwin.com is all about helping womb twin survivors around the world to get in touch with one another, and how to get on board as a member or associate member.

Membership is £15 a year and is a great way to get involved and help us to help you. There are millions of womb twin survivors in the world and this is the only membership organisation that exists to help and support womb twin survivors.
