Forgiveness, empathy and power - what says Oskar Schindler?

This famous quote from Schindler's list tells us something about power:



If it is real power to pardon or forgive, then think on:

We cannot forgive without empathy for the other person

If we gain power by forgiving

Then empathy is power.

Oskar Schindler developed empathy for the Jews. He died in poverty but his name lives on as a truly good man. That is power.
