Selective fetocide - what about the sole survivor?

Three babies - now only one. No comment from us. We know that we all carry a memory of events in the womb. Maybe you would like to express your own feelings about the way the survivors will feel.....

  1. This is a hard question. I am not really for abortion at all to start with...I always think adoption can & should be an option. (I do realize that there maybe some more serious factors to consider however, such as the health of mother, for example!) Being a womb twin survivor, I know that I would love to have had my sister on the earth with me, healthy or not. I know all about our constant search for our unborn siblings and this is a thing that is very hard for our hearts. I think that many singletons won't understand me here. I wonder what possible hate for the parents and doctors could result when the survivors finally found out what happened to their siblings.(I suppose it depends on the strength of the individuals) Now there are many who might understand...but most of those who I have met would go to great measures to meet with those sibling, who we have lost. I don't like to tell people what to do nor do I like to judge. I do, however, think it is important to consider this in your decision about selective fetocide. That's my two cents anyway. <3!
