This group, 1 in 10 of the population, includes survivors of a stillbirth, miscarriage, abortion and a "vanishing twin" pregnancy. It is a story of a twin bond broken by death, leaving a lonely survivor.
I can fully support this and once again would like to recommend the book by Luc Nicon mentioned before on this blog. He describes in detail the process of mazeration a dead fetus undergoes in utero and the effects it may cause in a surviving twin-fetus.
