Sylvia Plath as a wombtwin survivor?

Nick Owen - poet, psychotherapist, director of Wombtwin.com and wombtwin survivor, and not necessarily in that order - has got some of his most amazing and interesting ideas into print at last.

His thesis is that the destructive relationship between Sylvia Plath and her husband Ted Hughes was a re-enactment of a tragic pre-birth story.

Read more here:

He says that poetry goes before science, as in our intuition we can "know" things that seem to be unknowable, but in time science proves them right. Wombtwin survivors know about their twin at a deep and wordless level: its our job ( Nick and I and all the others writing about pre-birth material) to bring this work into the light by putting these vague ideas into words.

As wombtwin survivors publish their stories (this is the book!) so we will begin to understand and wake up to the profound influence that pre-birth material is having upon the whole of society, but so few people are aware of this. Wombtwin survivors can be the pioneers, especially those with tangible prof that what they are "remembering" was once a reality.
