This is my friend Alfred Ramoda Austermann from Germany, speaking very clearly about his work with womb twin survivors and how one of his clients found out that her dermoid cyst had been her twin.
He works through family constellation and specialises in womb twin survivors.
He describes being in the womb with your twin as "paradise."
He has written a remarkable book. Highly recommended.
When a twin dies before birth, the sole survivor needs help and understanding. Womb twin survivors are the sole survivors of a twin or multiple pregnancy. This group, 1 in 10 of the population, includes survivors of a stillbirth, miscarriage, abortion and a "vanishing twin" pregnancy. It is a story of a twin bond broken by death, leaving a lonely survivor.

Being with your twin and/or triplet IS paradise! So much so that many of us if not all) try to recreate that feeling by finding others in this life who we think match up with us and make them our twin....usually this never works out.
ReplyDeleteI am a womb twin. My twin was born still born. Because I was born in 1960, there was not ultra sound done. My mother did not know she was having twins. I think it might have been in paridise I think. When I was dating this girl "I am Lesbian" we did break up. She was always telling me that I was trying to make her my twin. I was 24 at the time. A weird thing is I always date people that live about 2000 miles away. My partners always end up leaving but I like long distance relationships!
